Our first time to Costa Rica and by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to on our many travels abroad.

We had the pleasure of going to a pre-wedding dinner at the restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food, and awesome atmosphere. We felt very welcome the second we walked through the door and were offered a delicious assortment of the some of the best food in the area. I highly recommend to anyone passing through or staying in the area.

Been there twice take-out sandwiches for lunch--- nutritious but nothing really special; Dinner-- ample portions, very good eatingexcellent steak, outstanding pumpkin ginger lemongrass soup.

We can't begin to say enough complementary things about Casa Paniagua. If you are staying here or passing through to Fortuna, this is the spot you want to hit en route. The food and the staff are amazing it is the freshest and most delicious food we have had in Arenal. The owners grow a large portion of the vegetables and herbs featured on their menu, and even raise their own pigs. The portions are significant and very fairly priced (the cheapest we have paid since being in town). They also offer food to-go. We've already made two stops here.

You have to stop here on your way to or from wherever your Costa Rican journey takes you. We stopped in on a rainy day, tired from the crappy roads and small car. We were drawn to the place because of the chic design and curb appeal. Glad we stopped because the owners, Jillian and Arthuro are super friendly and welcoming, the peanut butter flan was amaze-bomb, and the latte was delicious. Oh, and the view of the lake from the patio is delightful.
