One of the most awesome stops we have made in CR - Miguel is not only a fine artist (his carvings from coffee wood root are fantastic) but he is one hell of a nice guy. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him. The Orosi Valley is magnificent..!!

If you are in Costa Rica near Orosi Valley, you have to see La Casa del Sonador. It is an amazing house built by hand where the late artist Macedonio Quesada carved his famous wooden sculpture. Spiritually inspired creations fill this unique cottage located in the heart of lush rainforest.
