Average food, very good beer! They really have great tap beers, But they don’t know how to treat well customers! The hospitality is not compatible with everything the place gives.

You can tell a place is serious about you having a great craft brew experience when their menu board is gigantic and includes details beyond just ABV and IBUs to include the dates the kegs were tapped and the lines were last cleaned.
They serve a great variety of beers, all high quality and fresh, ranging from traditional styles to adventurous brews using local fruits and other fun ingredients.
They also serve delicious craft cocktails that are definitely worth a try.
The meat and cheese plate was solid and the pizza was very good.
Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable staff. They're passionate about craft beer and are happy to talk to you about it. We found that at least two had very good English (so don't worry if your Spanish isn't strong).response / report this review -

Right in the middle between La California and Barrio Escalante both in location and in the mood, the atmosphere is Brew Garden is quite unique. Prices are low and quality is usually pretty decent. Excellent place to gather with friends and drown your sorrows with a good Ale.

If you wanted to really try the local artisan beer in Costa Rica, this is the place to go. Not only will you have a great time but you will be a key part of the craft beer movement hitting Costa Rica by storm!!! Every month they hold a beer democracy party, so you can see the value of each artisan beer to the people of Costa Rica.
