  You don't go to Nosara for the nightlife, unless the nightlife you're craving involves sitting in the rocking chair on the porch of your accommodations, enjoying a cold beverage and watching the world go to sleep as the sun sets.
  
  Arne and Bibi have a wonderful place at Casa Banda that they have opened up to share with others who are "past the wild nightlife" but not the night time wildlife. Perched atop the hill overlooking Playa Pelada, you are treated to a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean, howler monkeys in the surrounding forest as well as a myriad of birds and insects. We just spent a week at Casa Banda with a great group of people and got to see all of the apartments; all of which were very comfortable, right down to the efficiency, Carino, where we stayed.
  
  There are numerous fruit trees on the property, a rancho (BBQ) for group meals and the pool is one of the largest in the area for properties like Casa Banda. Bibi and Arne also helped our group with some concierge services like arranging transportation with cab companies and negotiating a good price on fish caught that morning where the mouth of the Rio Nosara meets the Pacific Ocean.
  
  There are a number of small businesses within easy walking distance not to mention two beautiful beaches, Playa Pelada and Playa Nosara. Bring a flashlight for night time hiking back up the hill, or if you are adventurous - rent a car, quad or motorbike to traverse the winding, gravel roads - most of which do not have names.
  
  I had a fabulous time at Casa Banda and would definitely stay there again.
