  Very cool space and tastie coffee and confections. The batistas take their business seriously and seem very knowledgeable. They'll even bust out a book to explain locations of coffee harvesting. It exists in an area of town with lots of character and youth. It's worth a visit.

  Awesome coffee and good breakfast. They don't have many options for breakfast food but we tried the tostadas de aguacate and the ham and cheese croissant and they tasted awesome.

  I read online that this is the top coffee spot in san jose so I planned my day around it. I got to admit that while the coffee was good, it seemed a bit overrated. I would still recommend it, however.

  Beautiful charming place with an excellent coffee selection. Coffee is freshly ground, breakfast, cakes, cookies and other snakes are served. There is also a small gift shop with souvenirs. This place is connected to Kalu cafe and lunch place, have lunch at Kalu and coffee in Cafeoteca. 23 different varieties of coffees from 8 different regions of Costa Rica 🇨🇷.

  Great place for having coffee and something more. You will find very nice unique handicraft (expensive one), very good coffee bags, great food and very relaxing environment to enjoy your coffee or having a great conversation. If you are a coffee lover you will be very happy here, you can bring to you house very high quality coffee.

  Coffee and breakfast was out of this world! Highly recommend this place. Edwin, the barista, was super friendly and knowledgeable about all thing coffee related. For sure one of the highlights of my trip.

  The place has excellent coffee and a lot of different ways to make it (e.g. French press, aeropress, chemex, v60 pour over etc.). We tried three different coffees and they were all different and great. The guy making them was very knowledgeable about coffee and talked to us about where it was grown, roasted, flavor profiles etc. Highly recommended if you're looking to taste some nice local coffee!

  No es una cafetería auténtica. ¡Te venden el café por mililitros! y si uno reclama por el tamaño le calculan cuántos mililitros le quedan en el pichelillo. Ademas, aunque varían los métodos de hacer el café, al final, todas las variedades saben igual. Te hacen esperar porque falta personal y los dependientes atienden estresados.
