The food is very good and the ingredients are fresh. The prices are great, about 3mil calones for my breakfast. I got a drink called, I think “banana wake up” it was a banana and espresso smoothie, out of this world. It was great. I got pancakes they were incredible. It’s set right next to the Baru river. It’s indoor/outdoor. Really cool, relaxed environment. 5 stars all the way around.

The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. They also have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. So if you like healthy, natural food this is the right place for you.

They have a lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. We ordered some salads and they were really good, the dressings have lots of flavors and they use different fresh ingredients. The staff was really nice and the atmosphere and design is great too. It's next to a water formation.

Best vegan, vegetarian options in town with their own special coffee blend they have made. Super laid back place on the river with nice atmosphere and free WiFi. Health food store next door. Its a must stop. If on bus coming into town get out at forst left corner and pick it up again when it comes back through town. Stops about 5 times in town.

Amazing food, vegetarian and vegan. Great coffee and juices, and awesome desserts! Great location in Dominical and a beautiful view from the open air restaurant. Get vegan goodies at Mama Toucans natural.market next door!

This place is awesome. The staff are super friendly and ready to help with anything. Being a tourist, I wanted to know the best place to get a surf board and get souvenirs to take home and they were great. I think the only thing that topped their service was the food. The smoothie bowl pictured below was so delicious. I love the vegan and vegetarian options. Thanks for a great restaurant in Dominical will be back for more!

One of my favourite places at Dominical - Uvita area. Staff is awesome, food is healthy and great, place is very well located and on top of everything, coffee is like heaven. Very convenient when you need food to go as well. Try breakfast, they are the best, and is one of a few places around that opens early in the morning.

So many homemade juices, sauces, and baked goods. Order a cold pressed coffee or chai latte and start your day with beautiful view of the river meeting the ocean. Our avocado smash and pumpkin frittata both needed a little extra seasoning but the house hot sauce did the trick!

I was surprised and delighted by the amount of both gluten free and vegan options, and also how easy they were to find on their incredible menu. The staff were very friendly and the food was great - I found myself wishing I could go back many times.

Food's good, place is cozy, staff is nice. Great view. Only problem is the time it takes for the order to be ready. They bring each order one at a time, so everyone in my party ate at a different time. It was ackward. They need to speed up their process.

The best coffee I have ever had, with food to match. We went multiple times/day while we were visiting the area and were never disappointed. The next time we are in Costa Rica, we will certainly be back for more amazing items!

This is a very cool place in a scenic location. I love that you can walk out along the river while waiting for your food! I had a coffee (with milk) which was smooth and the passion fruit tart, which was the perfect tart and sweet mix. I had already eaten lunch but the food looked delicious and really reasonably priced (especially for the area). I would go back for sure!

The vibe here was so cool, and the coffee and food were amazing. The open air dining and picnic tables are more comfortable than you would imagine. Really fast wi-fi and great service made it easy to just hang out for as long as you would like. I miss this place (I'm in Oregon, USA)

Affordable coffee shop serving up a variety of drinks and food with a health-conscious approach. The staff are friendly and they're happy with one working on a laptop for a few hours.

While bumming around in Dominical for a few days this was a daily stop for my girlfriend and I in order to get some work. We really appreciated this place while trying to get our lives together while somewhat stuck in Costa Rica. We saw many of the same faces each day, I suppose making us regulars for a brief stint.

If you want to snag a spot by the outlets, come mid morning or mid afternoon. Avoid the morning and lunch rush.

I only give 4 stars instead of 5 due to the very finicky wifi.

When I look back on my time spent in Costa Rica, Dominical and Mono Congo are highlights for sure.
