I have been to both Cafe Macadamia (this one and the one at top of Arsenal). Food was great, coffee was delicious and the ambience is relaxing.

The location by Arsenal does offer a better view, but both are worth checking out!

Quick stop for snacks and drinks. English menu available. cc accepted. USD accepted. My favourite is macadamia nut banana muffin. A generous amount of big whole macadamia nuts covers the top of banana muffin. High end price tag.

We stopped here on a whim as we were traveling between Manuel Antonio and monteverde and it was by far the best meal we have had so far in our week here. Huge, delicious fresh portions. Amazing smoothies- top notch!

This place is amazing! Gorgeous view, great food, big selection of desserts. Even such simple thing as limonade is prepared nicely. Portions are big, think twice before ordering:) Also check out the cows which are freezing near by.

Good deserts and coffee, the location haves nice outdoor siting areas. The service is fast, so is good specially wen traveling so you don’t loose to much time.

Food has great taste and portions are big. Sit outside only if weather is not to hot. Plus, you get your natural drinks with an orchid on top, and you get a quick orchid tour on site. Really nice.

Food is amazing! Great soup, salad, and sandwiches. Delicious desserts and pastries. Some souvenirs but the sister store is much bigger and has a more pleasant section for outdoor eating.

Quaint little rest stop on our drive to Monteverde. The fresh juices (especially the lemonade with basil and the lemonade with mint) were delicious, as well as the "Iced Volcano" (a frozen drink made from coffee, milk, cinnamon, and chocolate). The cinnamon roll as well as the cheese plate were just OK.

Great food. Portions are Big. Only outside seating areas. They sell macadamia products and there's an orchid garden as well. Not a big fan of the butterflies trapped in the eating area.

great stop on the way to La Fortuna. Great drinks and beautiful view of Lake Arenal.
