We decided to eat at this restaurant since everything else in the area was closed at the time (around 8 30pm). The food is really basic and flavorless. A fish burger had the exact same components a cheeseburger would have (including the cheese). They offer a variety of dishes and make it sound fancy but every dish is the same with a cheap sauce on the side. Service was weak and definitely does not justify the high price tag.

Great scene, great staff, food was very good for a small beachside cantina. They played great music and had an excellent vibe all day (on a Sunday). Beautiful beach in front. Bartender Brandon is a badass, y al mismo fpr server Jason. Get a beer with local badass surf instructor Tony here!

This is a great restaurant/bar. Mario and Tony are fantastic and friendly hosts. They'll get you an umbrella, a couple of beach lounge chairs, and a table to hold your drinks and set you up out on the Playa Espadilla. You can safely leave your belongings with them so you don't have to worry about your things being taken while you're out on the beach or in the water. They'll wait on you while you're enjoying yourself out on the beach as well. Unfortunately the location of this bar is incorrect on Google maps. Try these coordinates: 9.390865, -84.148806. Incidentally, this bar and and beach combination is one of the best we have experienced yet in Costa Rica. The food and drinks were also very delicious and inexpensively priced.
