  Varadero restaurant in Barranquilla is the worst. Stay away. Ordered a pork elbow (?). brought it cold as if not cooked in the day or left over. After raising our objection, brought another, supposedly newly cooked. it was hard to chew, lots of salt, dry as if not fresh. Aside from nice music, these people have no idea of good food and how to serve a customer. We commented to the Cuban musician that the restaurant claim of serving of cuban food is far fetched. He agreed. Could't have been a worst experience and a costly one.

  I was a little disappointed. I lived in Miami and have being to Cuba. Not the best example of authentic cuban food.

  Not happy with the quality of cooking Oil this restaurant uses. For the price this restaurant is charging ; I think is not fair as a consumer to spend a lot of money in a restaurant like this. This restaurant should be offering their clients good quality cooking oil minimum Olive oil; not that cheap refined vegetable oil.

  Been here 3times or more.. love there fish dishes but the last time I visit everything that we order is so salty. The first one is the crab soup with Parmesan we ask to exchange it and staff is so friendly to do it. Then we have the second dish which is duo varadero and it's salty again.

  Cigars, great food, live music everynight. A must stop if you are in Barranquilla. Only problem is, if you stop here first, you might not go anywhere else the rest of your stay. Found myself always coming back. Relaxed, beautiful kind people.

  Always excellent service, ambiance, music and of course their dishes are fantastic. Varadero is favorite seafood restaurant in Barranquilla.
