I booked the Café de la Cima coffee plantation tour in March 2018 through this company. The tour was only $35, but it was worth so much more. We met at the Toucan Café and our tour guide picked up the group in a minibus. The drive took about 1.5-2 hours. Once we got to the plantation, we were fed arepas for breakfast. A tour of the plantation does take stamina. There are lots of steps and hills to climb, but the views all around are so worth it. You learn about the entire coffee making process, from planting to roasting the seeds. It takes a full 3 years to complete the cycle, which makes me appreciate coffee even more. At the end you can buy coffee directly from them. They ran out of large coffee bags and made more on the spot! The family that runs the farm are very friendly, genuine people. They even fed us lunch. I highly recommend this tour.

This place offers a number of interesting tours. That said they seem like a middle man for a number of the tours. So make sure you shop around. Some of the tours seem disjointed, ad hoc, and unplanned. What I mean by that is they meet as scheduled and leave within the planned window. You then travel to a specified part of town. Then everything seems to be by ear. At least that is the way the food tour was. It was rather disappointing. No trip to the market. No hidden gems for unexpected foods. Just walking around and stopping at a couple of planned restaurants. Which were nothing special. Then stopping at random food carts. For the food tour you would be just as well of wandering around and trying whatever looks interesting. The graffiti tour is the same tour as you can get with any other company. So shop for the best price.

A friend and I did the coffee tour at Cima with Diana and it was all amazing. First off Diana and the tour coordinators helped us out immensely when we were running late, they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The group was 7 or 8 strong and it was a great group. The family at the farm were very knowledgeable, very kind, and the food was DELICIOUS. I learned a lot, and their passion for their business and farm were encouraging.

Diana is amazing, really engaged with the group and spoke perfectly fine English, I will most likely request to be on a tour with her again when I come back! Thanks Diana!

The street food tour was awesome. The tour is also a great introduction to the metro and tram system. Be sure to ask for Diego, he is one of the best tour guides we've ever encountered. We are about to leave on our third tour with Toucan.

First I want to make an important distinction between the tour itself and the actual highlights. I found the tour far from perfect. Both the breakfast and lunch were not tasty, I would not go as far to call it disgusting but it wasn't good at all. Furthermore the group was really big, like 50 people. This made it nice to meet new people but arriving in a big bus hurts the experiences I would say.

For the rest: Guatape and the stone were amazing. Beautiful views and a nice boat trip as cherry on the cake.

All in all I can't give more than three stars since you can visit the highlight on your own and safe the money for better food.

This place holds one of the best language exchange meetings in Medellin, every Tuesday and Friday from 6 to 8pm. Besides, even though it's a small cafe, it offers an excellent service and a chill out environment. Also is located in a very convenient place in the city.

The cafe is very nice, with great coffee and good pastries. They also organize tours, I did the Guatape tour and the Graffiti tour, and both were impressive.

I took the Coffee Tasting Experience here and loved it! Andres was an excellent teacher. I've been a coffee lover for years and this class filled in a lot of gaps in my knowledge about making, tasting and appreciating a good cup of coffee. And yes, the coffee here is excellent world class!

    Coffee Farm Tour:
You get the authentic Antioquian family coffee farm experience :) Their tour is very interesting, informative, has beautiful views the entire time, and teaches you not just about coffee production, but about the culture itself. The coffee tasting part is the cherry on top. Bonus: The traditional food which is lovingly prepared while you're at the farm is made with fresh ingredients straight from the farm! Tip: Wear comfortable sneakers.
