For two years I loved this place and recommended it to my friends not only in Medellin but all over Colombia. It specialises in a full range of chicken wings and especially hot and particularly Buffalo wings. It serves the wings with fries made from yellow or sweet potatoes. In the past the wings were fantastic and closely matched the original Buffalo wings that is a short drive from my home. The fries were tasty and delicious. During my recent visit the fries were the same as before but the wings were awful. The extremely hot type were vanilla with no heat. My guest found the lemon pepper and barbecue insipid. I don't know what happened. Worse was to come. When I asked for the bill and presented my credit / debit card as before the server pointed to a small handwritten sign that was written in Spanish that said the establishment only accepted cash. I told them I did not have cash as I don't do late at night in Colombia. I then discussed this with the manageress and she informed me that I would have to go and get cash while my guest remained at the restaurant. This meant a 1 mile walk ( I am disabled) alone at 10 o clock at night to a bank machine in a risky area known for robberies at cash machines to withdraw cash then walk back the 1 mile. The manageress and the staff were unconcerned about the dangers when I explained upon my return and paying. They even had the nerve to ask if they should include the tip! I will never go back to this establishment. Oh, it closes at 10 pm.

Excellent Wings and Service at the location in Laureles !
We are writing this review for the location in Laureles at Av. 74b #3963. This is right in the heart of a large selection of wonderful restaurants. Western Wings has a lot of restaurant competition here, but they really stand out as a great place for wings. It has a great vibe, wonderful food and excellent prices. We found the service to be friendly and attentive. Even if you are not staying in Laureles, we highly recommend visiting this location so that you can also explore the immediate area around the restaurant.response / report this review -

Offensively bad. The waitress got pissed when we asked for an extra plate (we shared a platter of 40 wings and they didn't give us plates beyond the platter of wings) and ignored us from then. Wings were barely passable. Tourist trap.
