  Very nice beach only a couple minutes by boat from boca grande. Watch out that you don’t pay more than 10.000cop per ride pp. talked to one guy who asked 60.000cop for the ride. I guess it’s because of my blond hair. In the end he did it for 10.000 anyway haha. So don’t be fooled. The beach on the island was very nice with not too many tourists and the venders will not bother you too much. The lunch over there was quite expensive. For 30.000 you get a fresh fish with coconut rice, a little salad and patacones. Probably negotiable but the lady was nice so we didn’t bother. Didn’t have to pay for a place in the shade as we had lunch there. All in all I would say it’s definitely worth to go as it’s not too far and comparable cheap to other trips!

  Most expensive caipirinha I've had in my life (no lie, uptown Amsterdam is cheaper)! And then these people tried to charge us for the chairs we sat on (for a whole day) when we just passed by for a drink. What a ripoff.

  Nice alternative to Playa Blanca. Not ad for, cheaper to get there, and not many locals trying to sell their stuff. Nice white sand beach.

  Linda playa. Excelente servicio!! Solo recomendaría a los lugareños cuidar las playas del maltrato de los turistas. Recoger la basura, vidrios de la arena, ponerla en bolsas y que lo lleven a tierra firme. Una lastima q no cuiden estos hermosos lugares..

  Un lugar tranquilo. Gente amable. Playas deliciosas, bonitas.
  Hay que estar muy bien informado para no dejar que lo atropellen a uno con el abuso de precios a turistas.

  Un lugar agradable para pasar una tarde sabrosa, aunque el pescado que comí fue sierra no fue tan tan bueno como el de Playa Blanca en Barú, el sitio es acogedor no hay tanto vendedor y se puede estar tranquilo con las cosas allí

  The pictures don't do it justice! When in Cartagena, this IS A MUST. My girlfriend and I stayed at The Beach Hostel Cartagena. Spend a bit more to have less people around you this keeping your mind at peace with leaving your belongings while you swim. Food is great and drinks are cheap!

  Amazing spot to take a break from Cartagena. Visit The Beach Hostel for the best spot and service! They work with the locals of the island for mutual benefit and you know your good time is helping others.
