Great spot to visit either during the day or to enjoy a nice evening walk with good bars/restaurants to have a drink and relax.
If you feel adventurous enough then you should definitely try the Chicha which is a corn based fermented drink that has been made in this part of Colombia for over 200 years!

A historical place where you can enjoy with your friends and know other people. You can drink traditional “chicha” and visit many restaurants and bars.

This is an historical place from Bogota. Nice place to visit, there are plently of bars to have a drink of coffee and have a great time with friends or family. You also can find restaurants and handicrafts stores to buy beautiful things. Some places are cash only and some receive credit card. There arw also public and free shows like storytelling by the main fountain.

A small plaza close to lots of colonial streets small Cafe's bars and restaurants . Its right in the center of the city. I enjoyed the streets around more than the plaza it self. Lots of students and tourists i felt quite safe during the day

Very nice place to stay around in the evening. This place, known as the oldest place of Bogota, is packed in the evening with students of the five universities around and other young people, playing music and hanging around talking.
It's very easy to get in touch with them and spend a great evening together.
Be aware though of your stuff (valuables you should better let in your accommodation) since not everybody is the nicest person! ;)
And to avoid trouble with the police men remind yourself not to drink alcohol public visible - use a paperback around to cover your beverage

Historic square in the top of La Candelaria, place where first settlement was made by the Spanish. Usually busy, good coffee shops and some restaurants on Calle 2

Nice place to visit, share with friends or family and eat or drink something. It's also a must visit for its historical and architectural value. This place looks very different at different times of the day so in my opinion, morning to noon is perfect to visit with family and have lunch and late afternoon and night can be more interesting for friends and couples.

The most beautiful little church stands here on Bogotá's oldest street. The art around here is nice but the church really stands testament to the times that this place has gone through.
