Great experience especially if you go with a tour guide who will explain everything for you! The indoor maze of mountains of exotic fruits surrounding you plus all the history and very hard-working people there make this a unique tour.

Awesome cultural place. It's a traditional market. Very cheap

Love the experience. Go by yourself and not with a tour group. I spent a few hour walking around and buying stuff. It was nice to try a bunch of new fruits I've never had and some i grew up eating and missed since moving to the states. I look forward to going again.

"The Minorista" is an awesome market where you can buy all kinds of produce and meat. You can get lost here. It's great.

One of the biggest markets here in Medellín.
You get lots of stuff, people are super friendly.
Especially for a huge variety of fruits, this is the place to be.

It's always interesting to visit the Minorista. I was able to find something approximating American bacon.

This market is most certainly worth a visit! It hosts an incredible array of fruits, vegetables, arepas and more. There are also fruit tours given in english that I have not tried, but I hear are phenomenal.

Absolutely love this place. If you don't find it here, it does not exist (LOL)

If you live here, it's the best place to get cheap quality produce, if you don't, it's still a great place to visit and get a feel for the food culture of the city

A fantastic fruit market in the city. It's the second largest of this type which was ground zero during the 80's drug war. Daily people where shot here. Now it's been transformed and has undergone a rebirth. It's not as busy, given its history, but in time will revive.
