Nice place to exercise and spend time with kids
If you like to walk, do exercise, watch baskeball games, walk your pers or sit with your parnert this is a nice place
The park isn't that great on itself, it's quite big by Bucaramanga standards, has banks where you can sit and relax. It isn't very pretty though and is filled with street vendors who will scream loudly to attract attention, but that's a recurring theme for all local parks (except La Flora, you can have your peace there).
All in all the park is a good orientation point in the city. If you go north from the park you will reach a San Francisco cathedral with the "shoe street" nearby (it has a lot of shoe- and accessories shops, that are pretty cheap, because the shoes are produced locally in big amounts, a pair can cos around $45000 COP, but you are free to negotiate the price).
South from the park lies the "center" area of Bucaramanga, which has a city hall, radios, a market, museums, and all the business life going on there. Is reported by the locals to be pretty dangerous after dark!
Nice place to bring your kids. Perfectly located, near to de main sites in Bucaramanga. The facilities are in good shape and the place is safety for childrens and other visitors. Your kids should play and you enjoy the views and weather. You should arrive in your car, bike or public transport. Totally recommended!
Very friendly and safe park.
A traditional Park in town
Park with ample spaces, recently installed grass, in some points can be found people of street, it is not advisable to visit it in the nights.
Beautiful place
This place it's pretty nice to go walk or talking with our friends.
Nothing too special
There are street food, children games, soccer and basketball, and some people practice park curt.
Just ok open area
Nice park. But needs maintenance. Green grass is missing, however is a open area to "let the steam off".
neglected park
