The place in itself is fine. We liked the signs about respecting nature, and the beautiful sceneries. But we were really shocked to see captive parrots (Guacamaya azul) with clipped wings. We asked about them at the entrance, we learned that the one at the entrance was "rescued" and due to his past activity was losing his feathers. Still they choose to put him at the busiest place in the park. The one in the restaurant is just held there by someone, no excuses. Poor guys. To add on that, they encourage people to feed the squirrels (not that bad but still).

Really nice to relax for a day, connect with nature, there are a lot of birds and animals. I recommend to take the guided tour, I would recommend you to spend at least 1:30 here unless you want to go into the pool then you'll need more time

A fantastic park, is one of the main tourist attractions in San Gil. You can enjoy a 45min trekking through the park by the Fonce's River. There is an restaurant, cafeteria, swimming pool for kids, bridges over a river, natures, huge trees, squirrels.

This park is really nice, a bit hidden from the busy city you can find a decent peace of nature there. Stunning trees and multiple animals such as turtles or squirrels and parrots hummingbirds (if you are patient). Overall the visit will take you up to 30mn max. Worth considering if you have a bit to spend before catching a bus.

That's an amazing, ing place for natural walking You can enjoy the magic on trees and birds sounds, everything next to the Fonce River.
