    Paraiso is a great place!
It is cosy, has nice chairs and it’s also mostly quiet.
Service was friendly and fast, food pretty good, coffee average (it’s always a matter of taste!).
It’s a bit more expensive than other places, but still totally worth it.
Place is also good for working on your laptop: they have decent internet and nice tables.
Overall I can recommend the place.

What else can be said beside "ditto" to all the previous reviews. The place is a gem (do try their breakfast as it comes with bead toast and their fantastic fruit jam). If you are looking for a health grub this is the place to check out.

They have the best food. It's so hard to find healthy food in Medellin that is tasty and at a reasonable price. Quickly becoming a favorite place for lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly and wifi is fast too!

"vegetarian" restaurant that lacks any real vegan option. Only suitable for ovo lacto vegetarians and omnivores and not really vegans. They serve a "vegan" almuerzo that is like 200 calories because it's all vegetables and mushrooms It's very frustrating to eat at a supposedly vegetarian restaurant that isn't vegetarian at all but ovo lacto vegetarians and meat eaters. Despite specializing in pastries and vegetarianism, nothing is vegan, bread or pastry wise.

The bread is made with eggs so you can't have hummus with bread (the hummus sucked anyway), so you cant have any of the potentially vegan sandwiches because eggs. So frustrating, bread does not require eggs especially bread made for hummus or gyros!

Literally the only thing you can get on their menu is granola or hummus (without bread, so basically only granola) quite honestly I think this is embarrassing for a supposedly vegetarian restaurant because this is extremely excluding to the people who follow a full vegetarian diet and don't permit certain types of animal foods. So basically a vegetarian restaurant that is better suited for meat eaters and milk and egg eaters.

One extra star for the fact that they have coconut and almond milk for coffee.

Also this place is always full up with digital nomad and extranjero types, that may or not be your vibe but good to mention.

If you're a vegetarian or vegan here, watch out, they can make an almuerzo vegan but they will cut out the most caloric part of the meal leaving you to need to eat somewhere else for calories. It's frustrating people believe we can survive off 200 calorie salads, a "vegetarian" restaurant should know better.

I recommend saludpan or lenteja express for true vegetarian food. They're only about 5 minutes away from this place. Further away there is Cocina Tulsi, cafe andato, dharma, veg garden, veglife but you would need a taxi for those. These places have plenty of options and calories to sustain someone

Very chic and super relaxed place. The food is fresh and well done with a really inexpensive price tag. There pastries are tasty and made daily. NOTE: If you reserve and stay at the rental apartments just above the cafe (Ed. Fenix) you get chips to use on free breakfast. Also, super fast wi-fi and valuable sightseeing information from the staff who love tourists. Both sisters (owner's) are helpful and very friendly.

Best and most tasty healthy food in Medellín. It is difficult to find such a nice and clean restaurant that have healthy and vegetarian option at a local price. Has fast internet and great coffee for those who look constantly for a good place to work from. 💯% recommend.
