Great location far enough from the nightlife that your room is quiet but close enough to walk to great attractions. The staff, in particualr Valeria did their utmost to make our stay great. The best scrambled eggs I have had.

Terrible management and attitude.
We wanted to cancel 1 night out of 4. We've been told by the reception we need to let them know just 24 hours in advance. But later, when we did ask to cancel they refused, and demanded us to pay the full amount. When we insisted, they agreed, but then they didn't let us stay in the hostel and kicked us out.
During all of that the manager refused to speak with us directly, and all communications went through receptionist with texts, and took about 30 minutes per exchange.
Please don't encourage this kind of behavior to travelers, and don't support this hostel by staying in it.response / report this review -

Clean Hostel in Good area. The salsa at fridays are very fun. Staff are really friendly. Good breakfast. Stayed 4 night in 4 bed doorm

Amazing place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood, you won't regret of choosing it.

Stayes one night and would not go back. First they Mixed up our reservation, so we had to pay for a Double (100kCOP) as they overbooked our 4bed dorm (2x35kCOP).
The room is literally a tiny white box with a matress and you can barely move even without a Backpack/suitcase.
The hostel is more of a party hostel and definitely not for those looking to get rest. We had some loud tourists playing guitar at 11pm next to our room (I dont know why there are always annoying and loud people but oh well) and the staff did not enforce the quiet time.
Even worse, at midnight staff decided to loudly clean the bathroom right next to our room. They also turned on all the Lights. When we asked them to please stop they refused and just kept going.
Best thing about it is the location and the guy at checkin was friendly.response / report this review -

This hostel is a huge rip off, never book online or do any reservation with them. We did a reservation, the prices indicated 60 000 Colombian pesos for a double room, once the booking was done, they charged us the double. After that we went to see them in Cartagena to cancel it. They told us that they are going to refund us the 90$. This 90$ were debited a month after, without any messages from them. Since then, it is more than a month that they sweet talk to us, without doing any things to pay us back ! There is plenty of other hostel in Cartagena, which will propose you better room, better services, and better consideration as a client!

One day has a great location, friendly staff, and a good breakfast in the morning. It's a bit quieter as it doesn't have a great social area / bar and after looking around we found it was a tad expensive comparatively. Overall I would recommend this hostel.

Do not book online!! I booked online and when we showed up they told us that the room was actually double the price for what we booked for. Instead they offered us a terrible room for 80,000 pesos which we declined. I was then charged for the two nights that we never stayed. We have been trying to get a refund for two weeks now and they have only sent us one reply. If you want mediocre rooms at high prices and zero customer service then this is your place! The only good thing I have to say was the receptionist was nice and understanding
