A must-see in Bogota! Free to enter and extremely easy to navigate. The Botero is filled with gorgeous pieces and sculptures. Note - it was extremely crowded, although I visited on a holiday. Highly reccommend seeing.

Great "surprise find" walking in Candelaria.
Very nice art collection featuring sculptures and paintings from Colombian Master Fernando Botero.
The museum is inside a beautiful Colonial Mansion (worth visiting on its own)
Entry is FREE
And they have very knowledgeable Guides also for free

Perfect if you want to spend a small amount of your being in Bogota for very interesting and indeed very funny art investment.
And investment means your attention, entrance is free. ;)
It's chilly with a nice atmosphere and, if you are really interested in arts, coming up with surprises. In second floor you will find a selection of world famous artist like Monet, Renoir, Dali, Picasso and more.

If you love art you can't miss this place in your visit to Bogota!!! Absolutely a must for art lovers and enthusiasts. Because right there in the same complex of the Botero museum you also find the Museum of Art and the Museum of Coin. Amazing collections from very important artists like Picasso, Dali, Renoir, Botero, etc. On display for any and all to see. And the best part, the three museums are for free 365 days a year! A must see!

Small but amazing, charming, relaxed, understated museum that features a large collection of Botero paintings and sculptures along with a rotating collection (which featured works by Picasso, Monet, Matisse, Dali on my visit in Dec 2017). VERY well curated. I haven't enjoyed a museum this much in a long time. Tips: it's free. There are other museums very close by in the same complex worth checking out. Nice cafes, guest shops and central courtyard. You could probably see all the museum in 1hr., but it's also a wonderful place to soak in for hours. Gift shop on the 1st floor courtyard has a good selection (mostly Botero) or prints, t-shirts, postcards, mugs, etc.).

I truly fell in love with this place. The art is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Unique style, nicely organized, not overbearing, light enough for a days' visit, very thought provoking yet simple. You just can't stop looking.

This is a fun collection of museums. Of course there his Botero with his paintings. I love the way it is set up, that the rooms are all around a main courtyard. There are also other art and history museums attached. Definitely worth spending a few hours here!

Fantastic display of Botero paintings and sculptures, and art from South America and around the world. In same building complex you can also visit the money museum and other galleries, all free to enter.

One of my favorite art museums. Although is a donation of Fernando Botero, you can enjoy pieces of other artists like: Picasso, Degas, Van Gogh, Dalí, Miró, etc. Facilities are in an excelent condition and it is connected to other two museums that it is worth to see too. Entrance is free, so don't even think about it, go and enjoy!

Dry stop in a rainy city, including WLAN. But best: the exhibition is nice (lot of well known painters are featured) and funny even for no art specialists. You will find souvenirs with connections to Botero all over Bogota, one of the most famous Colombians.
