A great hike that can take you as long as you like as there are multiple trails and routes up and down the mountain.
The hike can be challenging in the morning after a rainfall as there are parts of the trail that are narrow and can be slippery.
Going up from the steps in town is a nice start, filling the stations of the cross up in the beginning.
There are many benches and rest areas for those that need to catch their breath.
At the top there are multiple canopy picnic benches. As well as plenty of flat ground for over night camping!
The views are stunning and it’s an incredible feeling to walk in the clouds!
It’s a shame the cable care is not functioning. It would have been a fun ride.response / report this review -

An easy walk up the hill with many viewpoints. First half will get you worked out, second half is like a walk in the park with little ups and downs.

The views of Cerro Tusa, Cerro Bravo, Rio Cauca, Jericó town, and all of Southwest Antioquia are fantastic, even better than from the top of other nearby mountains like Cerro Tusa.
Our friend Jorge, who owns Las Cometas Hostel in town, recommends coming up for the sunsets. He says they're out of this world.
Otherwise, I'd recommend doing a loop hike up the hill, along the ridge, then back down "Los Aguacates." It takes 2-3 ours.

Es un lugar muy agradable, tranquilo, amplio, tiene un lugar donde facilmente se puede llevar un balon a jugar; para acceder al parque se debe caminar aproximadamente 40 minutos desde el pueblo, su nombre hace alusión a lo alto del parque. Alli se lleva a cabo el festival "todos a las nubes" en el cual acuden las familias y realizan diferentes actividades como elevar cometa, parrilladas y demas
