I loved it! Everything here is soooo good what a jewel. I hope it stays that way for a long time.

Very good facilities! Only minus points is that they don't offer free drinking water and ventilation of the dorms could be better at night

Although this is technically a hostel it has way more of a hotel feel to it. The dorm rooms are very nice and all of the beds have curtains which adds to the privacy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is a great handout spot and is usually pretty lively. It's a great place to grab a few drinks before going out.

I absolutely liked staying at this place. However, I found the place not as perfect as some others do. The private room was quite large and possessed both a fan and airco. Furthermore the place is maintained excellent.

Unfortunately the pools were not really clean. I could see a lot of hairs and stuff floating around. I guess the pool is not cleaned that often during the day. Also the bruchetta ordered at the bar was really disappointing. Would expect more considering the prices they charge.

In the end, I would go here again.

The best hostel in the world stayed 3 weeks great staff two pools one on the roof next to the bar excellent chief free pool table alot of toilets very safe, even the dorm beds have fully enclosed curtains, one thing that put a smudge on the experience got my food stolen from the communal fridge and water stolen from near my bed obviously other travellers who didn't give a F. because they were leaving the hostel

Entertainment/party hostel. Probably not the hostel for a rough, old school backpacker. Nice for a stay to chill and sit in the pool. 50% more expensive in comparison to others around and no breakfast.

Location: Good location close to everything in Santa Marta. Bus from the airport stops right in front.

Hostel: Great rooms, beds and hostel in general. Nice bathrooms with plenty of space. two pools which are both very small and too hot, cool cine room, etc. Kitchen is a mess, poorly equipment.

Service: Clean except for the very poor and dirty kitchen. Baggage storage is COP5000. First time I've seen storage which isn't free. Breakfast ist additional COP8000, Not worth it considering you can get great one on the street. Live music on many nights. Quite good bands.
Staff is mostly English speaking, also most french. Not the fastest and took ages until my request was understood and wrong actions corrected. Really friendly people and great agency next to the reception.

English speaking staff, good service, clean rooms, great location. Book in advance because they are fully booked everyday (especially for weekends). Great patios, nice internals, rooms concepts are cool. We stayed in Shakira room (twin beds) and it was very comfortable.

One the best hostel I ever stayed in!
Way better than the Bogota one. 2 pools, very cozy ! The terasse is awesome with good drinks! The kitchen is very big and has everything you need to cook anything.
Service perfect and staff super friendly.
There is a tour company at the entrance that is pretty helpful and friendly too, they speak french, english and spanish.
Rooms are clean and bathroom too.
Dorm rooms are pretty tiny for 6/12 people including their backpacks but each bed has there plugs which is pretty unique.

I'm 1/2 and 1/2 on Masaya. The place itself is awesome. the pool on the roof top is awesome. the pool on the ground floor also awesome. the restaurant on the roof is great with happy hour and awesome dinner food. the kitchen facilities are also great. Laundry service is 25000 pesos per bag (no self laundry even though its advertised). the beds are comfy and bathrooms clean.

The bad - the people SUCK. you walk in to a gigantic list of NO's and Don'ts. I made a reservation and literally an hour late i tried to let them know that there was problem and i couldn't make it. I called and I emailed through website and its a single button to "resell bed" but they charged me for the whole thing. The towel charges are $3000 but the deposit is $20,000 and you can't swap for a new towel. you have to pay more fees. Oh and No you can't bring your own alcohol becuase they will throw it out. there is no such thing as customer service there is no such thing as human factor. Its all "according to policy". Happy hour ends at 7 so if you go for your last round at 7:03 youre out of luck because its against policy. I refused to spend any more money than i have to at this premises even if that meant going out to exito for my water and buying food and beer and wine and bringing them in.
Oh and if you want to leave your luggage here they'll charge you another 5000 pesos even though in other places and (i heard this place until few months ago) will do it for free.

Great hostel with brilliant facilities! The dorm room is really good with cool bunks which have blinds, lights and plugs inside. The roof top bar is lovely and great place to sit and enjoy some cervezas!

More like a luxury hostel with a lovely rooftop for sunset watching, good cocktails and live Colombian music nights. Clean rooms and good service, with a very convenient travel agent by the front entrance. Definitely recommend.
