besides the food tasting as if it were frozen and cooked in the microwave, the service was just as horrendous, and the owner needs to take a course in common etiquette, she was rude and obnoxious, as if she was doing us a favor by us eating at her restaurant. I never write reviews, but would hate for anyone to experience this type of service, which was null and void!

Además del mal sabor de la comida, como si estuviera congelada y recalentada en el microondas, el servicio fue terrible. Recomiendo a la propietaria tomar un curso de protocolo, totalmente grosera y desagradable.

Great dining experience at Mailia with friends, the food was simple outstanding, the service and the decoration all very unique, colorful, exotic and with good taste. All my friends liked it very much. Visiting Barranquilla will be incomplete without dining here. Thanks to all the staff for the great service and to the owner Maria Emilia for making us feeling so special. Will like to have a Mailia in Europe and another in Asia so I do not need to wait until my next time in Barranquilla.

Mailia is art meets fine dinning. We had a wonderful time sampling several of their dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. I recommend Mailia to anyone that wants a great experience as much as a great meal.
