We stayed there for 3 days. And this is enough on the Island. Take enough money with you, becasue there is no ATM. The food there is not good but it is ok. It takes very long to order something there. The stuff is ok. Its a island for relaxing
Isla Grande is a beautiful island! Not all the coasts have nice beaches, the nicest ones were libre which has the clearest water and two beautifull docks to sunbathe. In the middle of the island there is a really tint town where the locals live, its quite precarious but the people are not bad.
Local house is inside a comunity of houselike hostels with a common pool and bar, which is pretty good for food and drinks.
The house itself is AMAZING, really well made and beautifully decorated as seen in the pictures. There you can rent a bed with its own mosquitoe protecting net. It has two clean bathrooms and a nice kitchen. There is also a common area with a dinning table, some couches and hammocks. This common area is open to guests from the other hostels in the community and yoy can use theirs as well. Its a nice way to know new people. At night, the bar is pretty crowded and fun.
The people there are not very good at solving issues (we had a big one and their solution was the worst, we had to leave finally) but they will gladly explain and show the island and its activities. Within theese, you can find biking, skorkeling and diving, watching the plankton at the enchanted lagoon, etc.
Un paraiso hecha casa! Hermoso todo !
