I've been to a lot of hostels, and this one was truly the best. We ended up staying 2 weeks because we couldn't get enough! Easily accessible from San Gil or barichara, the place is a nice little hillside getaway with cute animals and an awesome vibe. Justin and Andrea are awesome host, they are so helpful in organizing anything you need and making you feel at home. O, and the goat cheese & chutney (both homemade) are absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

Justin and Andrea can not be more friendly & helpful. Fantastic camping value with an interesting choice of accommodation at great prices. Great facilities to sleep, shower, cook, eat & relax. San Gil is a 2000 peso bus ride away with white water rafting, parapenting, horse riding, waterfall a sailing and mountain biking at hand.

We had an amazing time staying at La Pacha, easily our favourite hostel in Colombia. Great location,beautiful views and easy to get to. Owners Justin & Andrea were friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. Highly recommend staying here!

Great spot to escape from the busy streets of San Gil. Lovely family run place with comfortable yurts, a big public kitchen, movie watching in a van, a lot of hammocks, great vegetarian menu and good prices. Highly recommend.

This place has it all. The atmosphere is truly amazing, I had a great time there. As it's outside of town many travelers come for more than one night and there is a sense of travelers' community. The views are incredible and the rainy afternoons are best to be passed in the bus where you can find many movies and books. There is also a possibility of enjoying a bonfire, we made it twice. I especially enjoyed being in the kitchen, with everybody preparing meals, chatting, having a cup of tea. The goat cheese that Justin makes is also worth trying and the goats are surely another attraction. Also, breakfast is yummy! Access to San Gil and Barichara are super easy and there are tons of excursions to do in the regions plus of course the adventure sports, you can ask at the reception for booking which is convenient.

Perfectly located just a short bus ride from the centre of town, La Pacha offers stunning views over the hills and valley, forest walks, chilled and friendly atmosphere, comfy beds and the BEST breakfast around! Hosts Justin and Andrea make you feel completely at home and will help you book activities and offer a wealth of local knowledge. Whether you want to take advantage of the many extreme sports on offer or just soak up the magic of the place, chill in hammocks, watch a film in the bus or eat home made goats cheese with a view this is the perfect place to come!

La Pacha really is a magical place! It is easy to get to and once you are here you don't wanna leave anyway. The hosts, Andrea and Justin, are really nice people and the location is amazing :)

The fact that it's out of town shouldn't scare you off! It's really easy to reach and it's worth it. A wonderful place, perfect to relax and enjoy the nature but just 5 mins down the road to hop on a bus to do the activities in the area!
Andrea was outstanding helpful and sweet, her husband is a really interesting person! They contribute to the nature and the environment and support charity! Wish I could have stayed longerresponse / report this review -
