Wonderful hotel! I traveled to Medellin in a group of 14 people and we spent 11 days at Hotel Suite Comfort! The location is great, there is a nearby park where you can ride a bike and there is a nearby square where several people play soccer (all day). The region is very safe and there are several great places to eat, mainly because it is close to Carrera 70 (one of the best places in Medellin). If you need to exchange money, there are currency exchange offices in the Unicentro shopping center (5 minutes walk) and Jumbo Market (10 minutes walk). The Medellín Metro station Sudamericana is 10 minutes from the hotel and is a great way to get around. But if you prefer to get out by taxi, just ask the reception to call you. The breakfast is varied and tasty with an nice view from terrace. Both lunch and dinner are incredible with an average price of 15,000 Colombian pesos. The only "issues" I had were with the room cards demagnetizing and setting up the room safe. But even with these problems, the hotel staff was always kind and very polite! I loved to know Medellín and can't wait to return to the city and to Suite Comfort!

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel until I found out that I had been double-charged. I paid with cash when I arrived, but because the reservation was made through booking, I was later charged a "no-show" fee on my debit-card. I could not get my money back because I did not have a receipt.

THIS CAN BE A POTENTIALLY EXCELLENT HOTEL IF IT CAN UPGRADE.
THE PROS ARE THAT THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL, THE ELEVATOR IS MOST EFFICIENT AND THE LOCATION IS ACCEPTABLE. THERE IS PLENTY OF HOT WATER, AND THEY HAVE A CONSTANT SUPPLY OF NICE COFFEE. THEY HAD BIKES FOR RENT AND LOANED YOU UMBRELLAS WHEN IT RAINED.
THE CONS ARE THAT SOME ROOMS HAVE NO HOT WATER TAP IN THE BATHROOM. IN ORDER TO SHAVE , I HAD TO GO IN THE SHOWER.THEY DID NOT SUPPLY DRINKING GLASSES AND FREE POTABLE WATER. WE HAD TO PURCHASE WATER FOR BRUSHING OUR TEETH.THE BREAKFAST IS OK,BUT THE CONSTANT TIRED SCRAMBLED EGGS ARE NOT TOO IMPRESSIVE. THERE WAS A TV BUT THERE WAS NOT ONE ENGLISH CHANNEL. THE HOTEL IS ALSO ON THE FLIGHT PATH OF A LOCAL AIRPORT AND THE NOISE IN THE MORNING IS SOMEWHAT LOUD. ON A SCALE OF ONE TO TEN, I WOULD RATE THIS HOTEL AS 7.5response / report this review -

Es un hotel con excelente ubicación y vista, cerca al centro de la ciudad, es un lugar ideal para la comodidad y el descanso de quien lo visita.

Nice hotel, some of the rooms are nicer than the others. The location is good but no close to public transportation however it's close to a nice area of bars in Medellín.

No me gustó que debajo de mi cama había una tapa de botella de champañaaclaro no era míaadicional solo tenia una cobijay tu por algún motivo sientes pequeños amigos en tu camaahhh si reservas por este medio te cobran el 19 de iba por día como adicional.si viajas a medellin es más rica la comida tradicional de restaurante..

The room was a bit small, but the service made up for everything! I hurt my foot at the airport and the had the pharmacy deliver pain meds and an ace bandage to my room at no cost! How kind.
