  The hotel is located around/in "the center" of Medellin. According to the hotel staff, it is the only hotel in the area, although there are hostels around as well. We were not around in the evening, but we heard the area could be a bit unsafe for tourists at night. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were very kind. They accommodated us and didn't charge us for cancelling one night even though our online reservation said we would be charged. There is a restaurant in the hotel where we had a tasty lunch. It was as we expected, a solid experience. However, tourists may prefer a section of the city called "El Poblado" which is nicer, safe, and seems to have more going on in terms of entertainment.

  Le pongo esta calificación ya que hice la reserva por internet y decía que tenía desayuno incluído al igual que piscina pero no tiene, cuando llegue al hotel me informaron que no tenía incluído el desayuno y no tiene piscina pero la atención si es buena al igual que las instalaciones

  We stayed here with an organised tour in a double bedroom. Room was pretty standard but clean: double bed, TV, and what was nice: a stereo. Albeit the hotel was very inexpensive, we were reluctant to realise that the water on the shower was lukewarm at best. This was not the case for all other guests. The next day after room service, we were left with only one towel.
