Our stay in La Clementina was memorable in every way. The owners Don Norberto Gonzalez and his wife Patricia are gentle and generous hosts going out of their way to satisfy our numerous requests and answer our many questions. One does not feel in a hotel one feels truly at home. The 300 year old residence is very well situated, one hundred metres from the main square, bus terminal, shops and restaurants. La Clementina is an ideal place to stay in El Socorro with its warm and hospitable people with easy access by bus to all the surrounding towns and villages which are all truly very beautiful. El Socorro and more broadly the department of Santander is very secure.
