A lovely location both inside and out. There are incredible views of the city and the sunset from the roof, and the in-house restaurant, Amadeus, prepared an amazing meal for us. As an upscale hotel in the old city of Cartagena, I'd certainly recommend a visit.

Excellent food in an amazing unique atmosphere. Truly memorable experience. The restaurant layout is so nice! You can't wish for a better service! The staff really works hard to ensure you fully enjoy your stay anything from photos, directions
The ceviche is really tasty ! Even as a solo dinner they offered a table.

Casa Pestagua is a very beautiful hotel, however, the staff and the owner Claude really are the icing on the cake and make you feel at home. They go out of your way to help in any way and make your stay enjoyable and as comfortable as possible. Claude personally handled some reservations for us at one of the top restaurants, and Camilo & team were there every step of the way for any needs, whether food, directions, fun, room comforts, etc Its' an amazing hotel with an even more incredible staff, and I'd love to stay there again should I go back to Cartagena.

Felt like I was leaving family! The Casa Pestagua property is grand and rich, yet comfortable and well appointed I loved the open and airy layout of the property. The staff understand service, discretely anticipating your needs, making you comfortable and at home always. Would love to go back!

This hotel seemed like a perfect getaway, however given the recent Zika scare, I was advised by my doctor to avoid travel to all regions that have the Aedes mosquito. I emailed the property several times and also called them to request for a refund or a credit for travel at another time. They have not had the courtesy to return my calls or an email. Unacceptable from a hotel that charges a pretty penny for rooms. Please do not book here.
