  The housemaid stole all of our money while there was just an older woman present. The worst part of this story is the missing interest of the owner after reporting this incident. You would at least communicate that this is nothing this hostel stands for but after there was no reaction I have to assume that stealing from customers is part of the wage of the employee and totally accepted. You can't not communicate, first lesson in customer relationship my friend ;)

  Het uitzicht dat we hier, vanaf het terras, hadden op het onweer boven Santa Marta zal ik niet snel vergeten. Onze taxichauffeur probeerde extra geld te vragen voor de weg naar boven omdat het ver zou zijn. Laat je niet in de maling nemen en loop vanaf het centrum. Binnen 5 minuten sta je voor het hostel.

  Unfortunately we had issues with transport getting to Minca the first night we booked and even though we emailed for advice and help, tried to call and attempted to change our booking online, we were still charged the night we weren't there which wasnt overly cheap and the hostel was nearly empty. We tried to speak to the owners about it and were promised he would come talk to us but he never did. He even threatened through his staff (who were wonderful) that he had our credit card details and would basically charge us no matter what. Very poor communication in our opinion. The hostel is very basic, breakfast is nice, fans in the rooms but no under cover area for smokers outside.

  Amazing view to the caribian sea and in the back to the mountains!!! Very nice and helpful owner and staff!!! Good work guys :-) and super dogfriendly

  Buena ubicación y muy bonita vista. Buenos espacios comunes, excelente atención de las voluntarias y la gente de la cocina. Pero le falta mucha limpieza a las habitaciones y los baños. La habitación q se encuentra en oferta está sin terminar y es demasiado pequeña para tener 4 camas, lo bueno es q está alejada del resto con lo cual es silenciosa mientras q las principales son bastante ruidosas. Un poco caro en función de estos temas.

  Hermoso lugar, muy económico y amigable al mochilero. Suelen tomar hasta 2 ayudantes a cambio de alojamiento. Es un lugar muy bello decorado con un muy buen gusto y objetos en su mayoría reciclados. Se tiene una vista espectacular de la ciudad de Santa Marta y el clima en Minca es mucho más fresco que en Santa Marta a pesar de estar a escasos minutos. Ha espacio para acampar pero también hay habitaciones. Hay baño, cocina, lavadero, sala de estar, biblioteca y quizá me este olvidando de alguna que otra cosa.

  A wonderful place to stay: a perfect view down on Santa Marta, quiet evenings on the patio while small but "roaring" Minca is just a five minutes walk away.
