This hotel is excellent. It needs a bit of polishing in terms of acknowledging SPG status members. We arrived very early and the hotel told us no rooms were available at the moment. So unless something drastic changed as we had checked the day prior and there was plenty of availability So we think they had a certain type of room to match the rate we had and they only reviewed if any of those were available. Point is there was no extra effort to check us in early. In their defense very few checked out prior to 11am.
Other than that the service from all staff was excellent, Maids were superb! Pool area was good and IMO the best is staff from restaurant and from bar. BTW the bar is awesome with really cold draft beer.
Rooms are regular 4 points Sheraton room which are good and I feel we got really good value rate for the hotel. The location is also great with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance and located in a safe neighborhood.
All and all it is a great four points hotel, a bit of training for staff to go the extra mile in smiles and effort and it will be a 5 star.

Good service. The attention to the detail was great. Lobby gets a bit noisy sometimes but is because the hotel is always busy. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

Poor service and mediocre staff, they charged us with unclear taxes. Really disappointed by the alleged "Sheraton" quality. Pool was dark and unwelcoming

This hotel and staff is great. Everyone starting from the guy that helps us with our luggage, front desk receptionist, IT person, waiters, and even the cleaning person, they were very friendly and helpful, and whatever issue we had to find a taxi or about getting extra towels, water, they helped. They even expressed concerned and offered me helped when my son fell in a nearby mall, and offered me if I need a doctor to check on my son. I am so happy to be able to be back to my own city and able to have a great experience. Love Barranquilla! Thanks for everything, will be back, Four Points. Alexandra
