Great coffee farm tour with a walkthrough of the steps from plant to cup. Two kinds of tour, regular and premium. Regular tour is about an hour and ends with a cup of coffee. It runs every hour. Premium tour needs to be arranged ahead of time and lasts three hours, more in-depth about coffee, brewing science, and the details of the production. Easily walkable from Salento, or you can take a Willy Jeep for 3000 pesos each way, they run back from the farm every hour with the last regular one departing at 630 pm. Oh yeah, and the coffee is fantastic! Best English speaking tours of the fincas around Salento. Stick around and enjoy some more first class coffee at the on-site coffee house, wonderful and chatty baristas will show you/recommend different brewing methods and varieties of local coffee from this family run business. Great bird watching from the coffee house too, expect to see a wide variety of exotic birds while sitting and enjoying your fresh brew.

We went for the coffee tour in English at 4pm. Our group was late due to a flat tire on the way, but they waited for us. The tour was very informative on the process and history of producing coffee in Colombia and they let you pick some coffee beans as well. Or guide was funny and his English fairly easy to understand. The grounds themselves are very scenic and beautiful. I would highly recommend it.

Our tour group was very large so it was difficult to always hear the information and have the ability to see what our guide was talking about. Our tour was in English and our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. It was both indoor and outdoor and extremely educational. Would recommend wearing closed toe shoes as there are bugs around the coffee plants.

Great coffee tourism. Beautiful Finca, processing plant, roaster and shop. Really laid back owners. Super peaceful. Fantastic views of the valley and humming birds all over.

We loved our coffee tour! We got to pick some coffee, we shown the whole process and got to taste some wonderful coffee in the end. Our tourguide Sebastian was incredibly funny and new everything we wanted to know about coffee! Would recommend it anytime.

I liked this tour because one, it's one of the popular ones, two, it's one of the only coffee tours that's offered in English and three, there's a lot of tours offered throughout the day in English.

Nice place to have a coffee tour and live the experience of collecting and grinding coffee. Deliciuos coffee there! The gides are really friendly people.

Did the coffee tour. It last about an hour and fifteen minutes. A new one starts every hour (at o'clock). You can do it in Spanish or at 4pm in English (there is also a tour in English in the morning).
The guide was interesting and the experience (harvesting coffee beans in particular) is nice.
Nevertheless I was expecting more from the coffee degustation (only one cup of coffee) as well as more information on the different types of coffee (which is different from the different types of coffee beans on which you get explanations).response / report this review -

Did the 4 pm English tour which was quite the learning experience! You learn everything about coffee, from how it's planted, why it's planted in specific areas/elevations, how long the harvest period is, how the coffee is roasted and turned from cherry to liquid heaven. I highly recommend this experience! You also get a very tasty cup of coffee at the end which is the perfect way to end the tour!

The tour was very informative and offered on English or Spanish. It takes you through the whole process of making coffee and you get to pick some fruits as well. At the end they demonstrate how to brew coffee and provide a sample cup. Definitely worth it for $10.000 COP
