  I really enjoyed my time at Family Host World and will no doubt return if I go back to Villa De Leyva. The hostel is well set up for socializing and very comfortable. Lillian, the owner, organized a free pasta night, a free canelazo night, and a night of dancing at a local salsa bar. It’s a great hostel if you’re hoping to meet other travelers and enjoy the many activities of Villa De Leyva. Also, solid breakfasts, comfortable beds, and a great social area with games, video games, Netflix and hammocks.

  Good value for money. Downsides are the two "guides" that roam around in the hostel persistently trying to sell you simple walks in the nature they make you feel uncomfortable. Also because of this, the hostel does not explain how to do hikes and excursions on your own. One guide asked us literally six times if we wanted to join him on his very simple excursion to a nearby waterfall reachable by bus in 10min. Breakfast very average, you can prepare something much more complete with the same money. Lady that prepares breakfast brings always with her, her little daughter which I didn't find very professional. Overall average experience.

  Mi mejor elección a tomar cuando decidí quedarme en Villa de Leyva. La atención, el lugar en sí, el precio, el orden, el ambiente del mismo no tienen comparación. Hay que ser muy puntuales anunciándose en el sitio (llegar a más tardar a las 9 pm) para poder hospedarse.
  Las llegadas al hospedaje son de 3pm a 9 pm y puedes salir desde las 5:30 am hasta las 12:00 del medio día.
  Es un lugar al que sin duda volveré.
