  We found this place from a recommendation by a local. She was definitely right, the empanadas are really good and their salsa is just the right amount of spice.

  Go to place for empanadas, while i was there a foodie tour and multiple folks (of all types) came by to grab bunches of 20. Although simple looking, empanadas are hard to make & this place does the crust & filling expertly. Just squeeze lime generously & add some of the way spicy sauce & you will experience one of the best empanadas in your life. Made fresh & not sitting around in some box. Wash it down w the jarritos like the locals.
