What an amazing and colorful restaurant. Definitely a must-see for any tourist wanting to get into the Colombian vibe. This establishment has Carnaval written all over and is a sight to see. The food was above-average and they serve large plates for a good price. Very popular with the locals and a lot of fun. Will help a tourist experience what Barranquilla is all about. I recommend just hanging out, trying the food, and having a cold beer.

The food here was delicious and very typical of the area. Loved the Sancocho de Mondongo and the Arroz de Lisa was amazing. For dessert we had the Mote de Queso and it was really great. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great as well.

Very cool atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. Went during Carnaval and it was very popular, not sure about the rest of the year though. Prices are a little expensive for Colombia (similar to a restaurant in the US), but the food was delicious

Cucayo is definitely one of the best restaurants in Barranquilla, you can enjoy a typical food of the Caribbean region of Colombia, (arroz con coco, carimañola, etc). This place has an amazing decoration with all the colors that represent the carnival of Barranquilla and all the things that represent customes in Barranquilla. The price is a little high but you can have an excellent experience in there. I think this worth it!
