Great experience there, good music, tasty food and different movies
I went to have dinner and the experience was the best, not only their menu is good but also the portions are generous, but the best is the service, our grilled cheese salad didnt have the cheese when we told our waitress she was really fast to fix it, while we waited other 2 waiters asked how we were doing and apologized, in addition to that they offered a dessert, it wasnt necessary as they had handled the situation quite well. Highly recommended.
Is the best place to watch independent movies and having fun. Great stuff and awesome dancehall parties. A lot of culture inside there.
A bar-resto-cinema with some of the best options Bogotá has to offer, colombian and internacional films, fine food and a great site for night life.
Great place to watch great Independent films, eat well and have some drinks with friends. Also good attention and delicious coffee.
Good place to watch movies, have a drink or even dance. The attic that doubles as dance floor is a bit cramped but other than that its a cool place. Drinks and food price are in the medium range a bit towards being expensive but it's worth it.
This is a unique bar/restaurant/cinema/art house. The food is authentic Mexican food and very good. The margaritas are tasty. We had food and drinks before seeing a movie in the cozy cinema. All around a very good experience and we would return.
Great place with food and drinks for different tastes. Plenty of tables and room for many guests. About the movies, sometimes they are not that recent (10 months or more). However I visited during the IndieBo Film Festival and there were movies from this very year. That made the experience even better. *Wear extra-layers in case you don't like AC while you watch movies.
I enjoyed the food. The place per se is beautiful, a nice neighborhood with a English touch. Food was nice and they have a nice selection of movies.
I've been going to this place from it´s opening, they have good films, nice drinks and a pretty place where to chill. But last night, after watching a documentary while eating with my friends, someone grabbed mi iphone and card from my coat's pocket, even when i was noticed of it by the waiter, the guys from the security nor the administration seems to care about this situation, since they haven't answered my messages either. Unfortunately it seems is not the first time a robbery like this happens in there, I recommend people if you go there, be aware of your belongings.
Updated June 18th 2017. This house is very welcoming and fun but extremely unsafe. A lot of people have been pickpocketed and the management has done nothing about it. The food is pretty close to the real thing and cheap. You must tried the tacos and the aguas. Also, you can attend a party on the third floor, see indie films, and buy cool stuff on the second floor. There are art exhibits, fashion events and book launches. A must go but watch your belongings.
Mediocre experience. The tacos took just shy of 45 minutes to arrive - cold. The weak drinks arrived after 15 minutes. The nacho chip-esque were soggy wet.
This was done at a price point of a far better
The only supporting feature was the decor. I could not recommend this.
Great location. Lots of space. A lot of different things offered. Movies and events, great food and bar. Nice little parties upstairs every now and then. Lots of culture and diversity.
A different place for having a drink and/or watching a movie. A little bit pricey, though.
As a theater or "cine", it's a 5/5 experience with decent pricing, decent seating, and a chance to see relatively unknown works in Bogotá. However, this place doubles as an eating establishment and it definitely seems to be resting on its laurels when it comes to food. Excellent food is not hard to find in Bogotá, but here it definitely seems hard to find--hence the 3/5. For only a movie? 5/5.
Hip decor, cozy place to get drinks and tasty food, followed up by an independent film in the unique screening rooms of this retrofitted old house.
One of my favorite places in Bogotá. This house is very welcoming and fun. There are several Mexican restaurants in Bogotá but Tonalá has two great things; the food is pretty close to the real thing and cheap. You.must tried the tacos and the aguas. Also, you can attend a party on the third floor, see indie films, and buy cool stuff on the second floor. There are art exhibits, fashion events and book launches. A must go!
