Beautiful hike and a fantastic chance to get away and enjoy nature. 🌳🏵️☁️The views overlooking the cloud forest are amazing. And it's true, be ready to hike! The way back will have you crawling up that hill by the end!
However, I do echo some of the other reviewer's concerns over their organization. When we got back to the gate after our hike (and the attendant knew full well that our overpriced driver [who charged for the time his car broke downthat's a whole nother story] was expecting us back at that time), there was no one to be found. 🙁 We yelled for a person for awhile, tried to edge along the side of the structure (bad idea), attempted to pick the lock on the gate, then proceeded to climb over (also, bad idea) before finally being able to finagle the entrance and climb over the turnstile.😕 . Why wasn't there a soul to be found here??!!!

The park is absolutely beautiful, not expensive at all like 6usd each for the day, the restaurant was very good at a very low price.
But there are not very organized, we were not told we had to leave before 6 so we left the park and like 2 miles after there was a closed gate and nobody had a key so we had to go back to the park ask them to open the gate but they didn't have a key either. It took us almost an hour to find someone to open that gate and be able to go back home.

This is a great place for enjoy the Andean Paramo and the local Flora and Fauna of Colombia. If you decide to visit this Natural Park remember to bring confortable shoes and plenty water to be hydrated. The walk may be very rural. Be careful also if you have any lession because this place is for walk a lot.

You'll find activities to do as Zip-Line, Tree climbing, horse riding. One thing I dislike like to much was the horse riding, because the horses seem to be tired and the paths to the rides are not well prepared for the animals.

I recommend it, nevertheless it is expensive compared to other places in Colombia and it has a lot of service lacks. First, the transportation they offer is not trustful. They helped me arrange a car to go from Soacha (Terreros station) to the park; it arrived one hour later and charged double the price of an Uber. To go back, I went to the front desk and I reserved a horseback ride from the center of the park to the entrance and a van ride from the entrance to Terreros; when I arrived to the entrance they told me that the van was gone and that I had to arrange private transportation by myself. Second, at the premises of the park, they only have one roll of toilet paper for each whole toilet battery. Why not one on each toilet cabin? The toilet paper of the outer women's restroom was over, I told them, and they didn't replace it in two days. Third, they don't have the kindness to tell you what they are serving at the restaurant. As in jail, they spit the dish take it or take it. What if you don't want this of this ingredient or if you want a smaller quantity? It's a waste of food they could avoid if they had the courtesy to ask. Cheap "corriente" restaurants have better service.

Muy aseado, los caminos en buen estado aunque es un lugar mas de esparcimiento con amigos y familia que ecoturistico, las personas hacen mucho ruido lo que impide disfrutar de las aves y demás animales silvestres
