A smal little parque way up high from Medellin City. You take a ride up (really easy to find, take the metro and then you directly go to the cable car) and then you are in the middle of beautiful nature. Up there is a tiny market with cute and handcraftet stuff. You can also do some small hikes around the area.

The ride to the park is fun and the park is big but everything costs money and its way too many people. More of an attraction than actual nature.

This is very important. If you do one thing in Medellin go to Parque Arvi and visit this ecotheme park. Do the canopy obstacle courses and thank me later. This activity was suggested to me by a good friend that loves Colombia and he said it was a must visit. He was right. The obstacle course was challenging and scary and fun. If you ever wanted to get up 20 ft into the trees and pretend you are in a video game, this is your opportunity. This is one of the most fun activities I have ever done on a trip, let alone on this one.

With just a small ride with the metrocable you can reach this wonderful park. It only costs 5000 pesos one way.
