Despite being the only English speaking participant on the tour, the guide was extremely thoughtful and translated everything for me. The insights were extremely in depth and the house and collection within is just as spectacular. Had a lovely time getting a better understanding of Medellin’s history

It's a great place for having a picnic in a nice place. It has a good view of the city, specially in the balcony of the castle, unfortunately the access is restricted. The tour for the castle is good, but could be better. Products are very expensive.

Very interesting being born here and now coming to vacation in Medellin, I never knew about this castle! Lots of history here and great that it has a tour guide to explain. The only downside is that you are not allowed to take pictures of the insideif you do, they have cameras and will kick you out. The rest was beautiful and you can even make reservations to have a romantic picnic! I absolutely recommend coming here. Enjoy!!!

This is not that exciting of a place. There were a few rooms with a bunch of dolls on display and then a few other rooms that you can visit on the guided tour which is in Spanish. The garden is nice but overall it's not a place that is a must see in Medellin.

Is a really relaxing, cozy and an amazing place to hang out for a while, just lay in the grass and get relax in a place at the middle is the city. The tour inside the castle is really fast and in Spanish, so you don't have time to translate to non-Spanish speakers about it.

The museum is nice and sione of the antiques are interesting. However the castle itself seemed kinda fake.

Its fine, but not overwhelming. Old Villa in style of pseudogothic romantic castle. Important Is the family, which helped to build Medellin.

Avoid the tour, but for $3 USD you can sit in a beautiful park and drink/picnic. Good spot to just take it all in for the afternoon.

Smallish. No pictures allowed inside. Brief tour in English, much more extensive in Spanish (we followed a group with a Spanish guide). Worth a visit. Entry fee 12,000 peso (about US$3) per person.

A must when visiting Medellin. There you will learn about one of the richest family in Medellin which left a big social legacy in the city.

A must see for Medellin. Stunning views of the city, beautiful grounds with exotic flowers and trees from around the world, as well as history. Truly this experience is for everyone. The castle is unique and stands out with great mystique against the green landscape.
