The food is delicious, but they apply over price, the most expensive restaurant that I had been eaten in Colombia.
Super tasty food. Absolutely delicious.
We ordered the traditional pollo ajiaca and it was delicious. It is a little bit more expensive than nearby restaurants, but service was very good and the place is quite nice.
Tipical Colombian food in a very cozy atmosphere, good recommendations from the personnel
The best of Colombia's cousine can be found in Casa Vieja. Good service and great location in the traditional neighborhood La Candelaria.
This place is so disgusting and on top of that, it's overpriced! I ordered a beef brisket and my husband ordered the Colombian empanadas. The food came out literally two minutes after we ordered it, which was already a bad sign. My brisket was absolutely gross! It was basically a thin slice of beef that was cold and SLIMY and impossible to cut. The potatoes that came with it were also cold and smothered in some disgusting yellow sauce. The empanadas were hot for a change, but tasted weird. We could tell they weren't fresh and were deep fried to disguise the fact that they were not fresh. I explained that the food was gross to two separate waiters, but in the end nothing was done about it. We paid 47,000 COP (without any drinks). Can you believe it?? This place is so overpriced! And for what? We both left hubgry and disgusted. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE!
The restaurant caters to tourists. My meal was undercooked. And it's overpriced. There are much better options around that area.
Comida rica. Sentí que dan atención "personalizada" y no toda al mismo nivel.
One of the most traditional Colombian restaurants in Bogotá, this Casa Vieja location is part of the modern history of Bogotá's downtown. Service is good though slightly behind great, food is very good but price is a little above fair.
I had Empanadas for appetizer, very good traditional fried empanadas, truly remarkable. Main dish was "Almuerzo Campesino" (Farmer's Lunch) which is a mix of cow rib, chicken breast, and pork boiled with potato, yucca, corn cob, arracacha, and plantain, topped with a tomato-onion sauce and served in a beautiful traditional pot, delicious and quite nice to look too. For dessert I had "Esponjado de curuba" (Curuba -Banana Passionfruit according to Wikipedia- Mousse), traditional in Colombia and good here, but slightly disappointing as I was expecting much better.
Still, overall the place is recommended, but be ready for something that is expensive for Colombian standards though totally worth it for some of the dishes
Muy bueno
Excelente!!! Para traer turistas y mostrar nuestro sabor auténtico
