Servicio excelente y rapido. Les hice muchas preguntas antes de decidir usar el servicio y siempre fueron muy serviciales y respondieron cada una de mis inquietudes. Definitivamente los usaré otra vez y están 100% recomendados. Cartagena-Barranquilla.

Drive from Cartagena to Santa Marta, I am a tourist, but speak Spanish fluently:
Everything worked out fine, the drive itself was pleasant, swift and safe. Prior to arranging this puerta a puerta service I generally read quite a few negative experiences about transport services in Colombia, especially about a competitor. Owed to this, I was a bit uneasy before the ride started. The ride was excellent. 0 problems. Cars not of the newest models but clean, comfortable and with A/C. The drivers are professional drivers, so naturally drive more confident than most of the other drivers on the road, some of which drive unimaginable slow, but the ride was safe at all times. The drivers are friendly, speak little and arrange themselves behind the scenes for passenger exchange in Barranquilla. I got my drivers' name and licence plate from Caribe Vans. He introduced himself to me via Whatsapp. He was fully punctual.
The negative points concern the before. Because I knew I was travelling on Christmas Day, I contacted Caribe Vans via the contact form on December 1st. They quoted me, we exchanged the details and it was arranged for pickup at 11am and ride start at 12pm. Since, between then and actual travel date lay 3 weeks, I contacted them to confirm a few days before via the same email thread. No response. A day later I wrote them a Whatsapp. They replied, but said they need to check the trips they'll be having because it was going to be Christmas Day and it might be at another time. They would tell me the next day (one day before the trip). I fully understood and was flexible with the time. The next day, I heard nothing, I even wrote a short note to ask. Then came the morning of the trip. I wrote a note asking for a time and if it was going to happen at all. For 1 hour I heard nothing. It was 10 minutes to the originally agreed time and I was already considering other options in my mind (like a competitor who I actually did not want to take), when they finally got back to me and confirmed a ride at 1pm and wrote me the drivers' details. The quote at the last minute had gone up to 70,000 COP from 60k originally quoted, apparently it went up on Dec 15. That was OK and it seemed the new price for everyone, even Colombians on the same van, so I don't mind. Tolls alone are 30,000 COP on this trip.
From then on, as stated everything went smoothly. Total travel time and considering being first in last out was 5 hours and that was only because they picked up a family from the Barranquilla airport which was a small detour.
All in all, I can recommend this company and want them to succeed, because I think the Colombian car service market needs reliable players. But, the communication to the client has to improve.response / report this review -

Mi experiencia con Caribe Vans fue la mejor, muy puntuales, la van cómoda y en buen estado, los recomiendo. Volveré a viajar con ellos.

Pésimo servicio. Después de agendar el servicio para transporte al aeropuerto de Barranquilla desde Cartagena, a media hora de la hora acordada me llama el conductor a decir que en barranquilla estaba prohibido el servicio puerta a puerta y que estaban inmovilizando los carros, por lo cual no nos podía prestar el servicio. Me comuniqué con la empresa y me dicen que tenían un inconveniente con el vehículo y que no nos podían prestar el servicio (versiones diferentes). Me parece un servicio negligente porque mientras conseguíamos otro transporte nos vimos muy afectados en los horarios para tomar el vuelo. No recomiendo usar este servicio porque los pueden dejar tirados!!

No se lo recomiendo a NADIE. Reservé servicio ida BAQ-SANTA MARTA y primero me recogen en un carro particular Optra que ni siquiera le servían las ventanas. Al regreso, no sólo la van incumple con la hora sino que nos recogen una "van" en muy mal estado, con dos conductores que no supieron identificarse como la empresa, el aire del vehículo NO SERVÍA, ibamos como sardinas apretadas y con calor.
Es un abuso cobrar un precio de transporte ejecutivo mientras se presta un servicio inferior al de un Puerta ruta MUCHO MÁS BARATO. Además el conductor no tiene ningún respeto al conducir en carretera. Se adelantaba en curvas, competía con otros buses, y dentro de la ciudad se volaba los semáforos y escuadras. Si usted quiere ir tranquilo y cómodo, váyase con otra empresa. ¡Está es fatal!response / report this review -
