The 6hr tour we had was just enough to see the city. Bogota was also very colonial style and diverse among latin americans. We did learn a lot about the city and was indeed a great experience being there.
Camila (the sweet lady in the middle of the 5th photo) was a wonderful and kind tourguide from Bogotravel Tours, speaks english well, knowledegae and she made us feel safe walking around their old town and introduced us to one of their delicacy snacks.
    Highly recommended.

The bike Tour offered by Bogotravel Tours was the most memorable tour I took out of all my previous tours. Felipe was an excellent tour guide. He provided a historical personal perspective from the hardships felt by Colombians during the days of narco terrorism and on the verge of a civil war to the triumph of the emerging renaissance of a vibrant city with a rich culture and bright future. We enjoyed the stops at the various food places and new Coffee company that was a welcome break during the tour. Felipe was an excellent hosts and gracious enough to extend our tour. Like all tours with Bogotravel , they provide an excellent value and a truly personal touch. I am looking forward to my next Tour with the company. Their guides are all top notch and will exceed your expectations for a truly memorable experience.

We took a tour on Dec 2 for the Gatavita lake and the salt cathedral. Excellent organisation. Easy booking the day before. Raul (driver) and Camila (English interpret) were very friendly and were providing a lot of information.
Would have been best for us to have a frencch language tour of the cathedral ( as it was apparently available).

They picked us at our hotel at the exact planned time.

We also got a typical Columbian lunch.
    Very good

Overall a very good value. I recommend it.

    Thanks Raul and Camila.

Me and my wife visited Bogota. We had limited time and we were only staying one day. we decided to do a City Tour and at the morning and then a tour to the Salt cathedral of Zipaquira. We are glad we did it! We were picked up by Luis at our Hotel. Who took us to the historic center to start our tour. Fernando was an excellent local guide. He was full of knowledge about every aspect and details he explained us about the historical, political, economics of his country. We were lucky to have arranged with Bogotravel tours. The service and logistic was amazed for the Salt Cathedral Tour, They took us right outside of Bogota. Both tours lasted about eleven hours and we never felt bored or rushed through it. I highly recommend book your tours and services with Bogotravel tours if you have limited time in Bogota, they won´t disappoint you. Thank you Bogotravel tours for your effort.

Coming to Bogota after a five-week trip in South America, we didn’t expect to meet such a friendly people and beautiful city and thought that 3 days here would be more than enough… we were so wrong! Anyways, we contacted Bogotravel Tours in advance, because we wanted to have a private tour for the second and third day of our stay here. So we’ve got Francisco, driver and tour guide, for one day when we did the small town of Zipaquira – Catedral de Sal, and Edgar (tour guide) and his driver Miguel, for the other day when we did Cerro de Monserrate, Downtown Bogota with its Plaza de Bolivar and streets with beautiful graffiti art, the old city centre and a short visit to a small coffee factory. It was a very interesting experience and we had a lot of fun riding the old funicular going up to Cerro de Monserrate and the new cable car coming down from there. As we love taking lots of photos, some more artistic than others, both guys proved us their photographic skills as well.  Aside from their social and professional skills as a tour guide, Francisco and Edgar are very proud Colombians; they were full of historical stories about Colombia in general and Bogota in particular and their transformation throughout the years. We couldn’t thank them enough for combining a spectacular sightseeing and a superb hospitality. And it was the best we could do with our time and money, well worth it. We miss them already and that’s why we gladly recommend them to anyone that goes to Bogota for one day or more.

We went on a tour with Michael and it was so wonderful! It was a small group and we spent 4.5 hours weaving our way through Bogotá. Michael took tons of pictures (which he had sent to us before our taxi could even make the 15 minute ride back to our Airbnb) and was full of knowledge from Political history to street art to a fruit tasting to getting to go behind the scenes in a cafe and see where and how the coffee is roasted (and how to spot a good bean).
    Definitely do it!!!

We rarely do tours, but this one time was definitely worth it. Fernando and the gang were great Colombian hosts! We went with four others on a coffee plantation tour outside the city and it was fantastic. We were not rushed at all, as other tours tend to be. The overall price was the most competitive among several tour companies in the Bogota area. The bilingual guides are all well spoken and share as much as they can about their country. Very reputable and safe!
