A great bar with a friendly staff and affordable drinks. We went during a night with live music and it was a great atmosphere! I would recommend stopping in for a beer if you're in the Laureles area..

Barrio Central is a great bar / cafe.
It’s more relaxed, which I personally really like.
On the other side they do have some special events with live music or similar.
Service was friendly and quick.

A very cool place they have a good variety of beers. The staff sometime can be a bit slow when when the place is not to crowded. The pizza was ok not like "wow" that is why It was just ok. The events are well managed as well

Well this was a disappointment, heard nice things. On the first visit all the tables are full. We try to ask but the waitress are busy and just tells us to wait so we leave. On the second visit it is almost empty. Maybe because they are out of food. No sandwiches and no toasts so we settle for coffee and cake. Almost. They are out of desert as well except for one pie but we pass. The cappuccino is very weak with a lot of milk, i almost feel like I’m in france so I don’t think we will be back. Too bad, it looks like there is a nice vibe among the customers but don’t believe the hype.

I'm not a regular bar goer, so visiting this bar for my friend's stag party was a total surprise to me.
I was first amazed by its not-too-cool-and-super-welcoming atmosphere, which I believe it's one of the reasons this place has a mixture of local and foreign customers. The bar co-owner Craig's passion to food and drink, which can be seen from the good selection of local beer and creative snacks. I really enjoyed their pizzas with chilli sauce.
This bar is located in a neighbourhood full of spots that locals hang out. It is definitely worth to pay a visit to this side of the town for experiencing what Medellín really is like in the evening.response / report this review -

Wonderful terrace with climbing greenery. Staff are friendly and pizzas are unusual but delicious. Def recommend for an outdoor drink away from the noise of La 70.
