The guesthouse itself is good value but the rooms and the bathrooms are dated. There's no free breakfast either. The staff was really helpful though. But it's more like a hotel than a hostel, no backpacking vibe at all

This is a super cute place inside. The staff are all lovely - very attentive and welcoming. Many speak English which is a bonus. It's great value. Our room was spacious with a huge bed and very powerful shower (hot water!) The room could get a bit stuffy as the window didn't go directly to the outside, but onto the courtyard area. It could be a bit noisy at night with other guests checking in late, but our room was the closest to reception so probably not an issue elsewhere. The communal spaces are lovely, and the roof terrace is a special feature. The food is generally very nice and it's not expensive - handy if you don't want to go out. This is not a touristy area, so there aren't really restaurants within walking distance, so bear that in mind. I wouldn't really walk around this area at night, it's a genuine experience of Medellìn with relative poverty apparent - daytime was fine and the Prado train station is just a 5 minute walk away.

Very large old home converted into a guesthouse. Every room is unique and well appointed. On site restaurant with a cook that is superb and loves challenges. Excellent staff that goes beyond "good" service.

Small rooms without comfort and inexistent staff. Do not come here if you want a good vibe or tips about the city.

This place has great rooms even better food and even better staff. Prado isn't the most appealing neighborhood but we were always happy to be coming back to this relaxing oasis after a full day of adventure.

Great service, nice bedrooms, and well maintained common areas. From the front bar/restaurant area, to the rooftop seating you'll be pleased. I was impressed with the quality of the accommodations and would love to come back on a future visit. They do not take credit card on site but do use PayPal for COP for payment. Roberto and some of the other staff were very friendly and had great English language skills (although that Isn't something I expect). They also were able to arrange taxis to and from the MDE airport.

It was great experience to feel simplicity and a good hospitality in this hotel. I felt like at my native land that I haven't been long time and everybody were very polite and friendly.
