Atmosphere is overwhelming Although it's flooded with people, they still respect the ascetic lifestyle

An active site of worship, walk through clouds of incense and layers of temple to see the intricate and grand Buddha statues.

Thats one of my fav temples in Beijing. If you can come here during the week. And you cant bring your own incense anymore. But you will get it for free. (After you pay 25RMB for entrance)

I've spent many days here over my years here in the city. You'll find peace in the smell of the incense and silence within the temples.

Большой ламаистский храмовый комплекс с аллеей у входа. Много людей, вход 25 юаней. Каждый следующий храм богаче предыдущего. В самом последнем - огромная статуя стоящего Будды

    1) a must-visit in Beijing, if only for its unbelievable buddha statue made entirely of one single piece of sacred tree; 2) must-go place for prayers; 3) avoid the crowd during national holidays

One of the largest Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries in the world. In the heart of busy Bejing, slow down and reflect on how awesome it is to wander such a historical and spiritual place!
