The place is so huge with very large departure lounge. No doubt if you have to wait in long queue for buying train tickets because of large number of travelers. Making the journey by high speed/bullet train from here to Guangzhou will take about 30 min with top speed 310 km/h. It was a well worth experience, only 74.5 RMB for second class train G type.

Had to help a few tourists who seemed lost and panicky. This place being so huge and crowded, they were trying to ask where and how to pick up tickets. The people they asked couldn't speak English. More need to be done by this station to accommodate tourists with an information/help desk for English speakers. Even native speakers seemed lost in this maze. Directing signs are mostly in Chinese.

Station staff does not speak English. Token machine crashes sometimes when selecting English option.

Unusual design, hard to find correct exit to streets without informative signs. Good food stores for long waits.

ShenZhen North Station: is a venue where you can arrange to meet, dine and have a cuppa to catch up with friends and loved ones.
This train station is also indirectly linking to the FAST bullet train where one can buy a ticket to travel all the way to Beijing or other parts of China.
Surrounding area of this venue is still developing. - Hotels, residential accommodation, shopping malls, etc.response / report this review
