This sand bar used to be an European enclave during the end of the Qing dynasty. There are many European houses that are still in good condition. A slow walk around will bring you back to the days when Europeans lived in a separate world from the Chinese. A great place to relax and soak up the old days. Very popular with the locals for their wedding shoots.

A big park with lots of tree and historical buildings. Locals usually come here for a walk and famous among travellers for its history. There are many bronze statue and flower for taking photos. A nice place to slow down your pace and relax.

我是跟朋友一起去的。我們一路在逛，覺得那裡的建築非常具有特色，也逛了很多特色的飾品店。路的周邊有很多樹，有的蜿蜒曲折，很有特色。有空值得一去，感受一下藝術休閑的生活。

几乎每个来广州的人都会去沙面，即便他之前已经去过很多次，这似乎 是约定俗成的。这个仅有0.3平方公里的地方何以如此令人难以忘怀的 是宽敞的西洋大街、西式木椅，是欧陆味道的路灯、形形色色的游人、 茂盛的植被，又或是那一幢幢充满异国情调的建筑。沙面地处白鹅潭 畔，在沿江长堤的最西端，地理位置优越。1859年，沙面曾沦为英法 租界，十几个国家在这块弹丸之地设立了100多家领事馆、银行、洋 行，还建了许多富有欧陆风情的建筑物和休憩公园，至今这些建筑依然 存在。一条贯通东西的沙面大街，配以5条南北向的小街，将小岛分成 风格统一的12个区域，使沙面显得井井有条。沙面的绿化装点也很有情 调。白鹅潭畔的情怀、往返的夜游船都吸引了众多游人的目光。沙面本 身是白鹅潭畔一片流沙，经珠江冲击而成为沙洲，因此四面临水。由于 珠江治理得力，舒适的环境使在沙面闲逛成为人们的一种休闲方式。
