Mediocre
Bargain well .. all under one roof
This is one of my favourite markets in Shanghai. The place and massive and easy to get lost it in, it spans across a series of large buildings. So you leave one building and just walk into the next and the market continues.
You can find everything in this market: clothing, bags, shoes, etc. Everything is unbelievably cheap. Less foreigners come here, its mostly locals, so it actually tends to be easier to bargain. Some shops will even have prices on certain things. This is definitely the easiest market to bargain in, (next would be the Museum of Science market and the most difficult is the Nanjing market).
The only downside is that you really got to dig to find what you want. The place is so big and has different sections, that you just got to hope you come across the section with the thing you're looking for. There's parts that sell mostly shoes, I've seen an area of just stores selling just denim shorts before. You just got to take the time to wander through.
If you have the time then this is a great market, and has clothes for inanely cheap prices. I came here once after returning a dress I got from H&M, and so I got 200rmb back. I took that money to Qipu and ended up buying 11 articles of clothing with the money is cost for one thing in a Western store.
