  The Yunnan Qiao Xiang Yuan Rice Noodle restaurant in Mengzi specialises in a dish known as "cross the bridge noodles" which consists of a large bowl of chicken broth to which an array of meats, pickled vegetables and rice noodles are added. Cold noodle dishes are also available as well as soups and various cold snacks.
  
  Generally clean, but little air conditioning making the restaurant rather warm on a summer's day.
  
  Despite there being a sign prohibiting the taking of pictures, smoking and dogs, the first two were widely ignored! No dogs were seen however.
