Impressive Hall and much to see, but it clearly tells a specific story of what happend and only one point of view.
Very emotional expierience, and very sad. It shows how cruel were the japanese soldiers during the occupation.
Beautiful museum, but bring a hanky. Very sad. It includes history of atrocities from around the world at that time.
Well preserved history in this place of massacre by invading army. Descriptive and graphical illustration makes it easy to understand the barbaric nature of atrocities by invaders. Usually crowded because lot of people come here to pay homage to deceased ones.
Amazing memorial and museum! Very well designed and her informative. It was an emotional experience. The exhibit, however, is very long - takes 2-3 hours to get through it all!
A place Chinese memorising their massacre victims during world war 2. I saw little boys and girls were brought to the place by the teachers. It is really important to teach the young the cruelty of the war. And never make the same mistake in the future.
I wonder if the same people go to Auschwitz and complain where the Nazi side of the story is.
Have best facility in Nanjing for patriotism education propose. But lack of contents because that they put way more attentions to tragic then all round knowledge.
Read a couple of books about it before going to the museum. I thought they managed to capture the timeline and horror well. My friends with no previous knowledge seems to have understood it fairly well after the visit, which is what most museums should succeed in.
Be aware that here is presented only one side of the story. It feels factual enough though. I hope it's not just pure propaganda. Just bear in mind that you won't read about the other side of the story. The museum is well done, my girlfriend and I a few hours, and couldn't finish it before it closed.
