Entrance fee: 12yuan/person (discounts for students, kids and seniors).
Great place to visit if you have any interest in Chinese history. The museum was built on top of the Nanyue King's tomb, and offers a great insight about the rich past of the southern kingdom of the Han dynasty. The place is great to take kids to; the museum organises activities for children quite often. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time if you wish to cover all parts of the museum (2h15m for us in a rush).

Very interesting museum.
The exhibition is tremendous and you don't need an Audio guide as clear English descriptions are available. You can walk to the museum, if you have a hotel in the center.

Excellent museum with wonderful objects from the tomb that are displayed well in a good space. My only quibble applies to many of the displays of fine old jade in Chinese museums - the lighting is too dim and this makes it very hard to discern the details of the craftsmanship and design.
